Amina Ahmed is a senior Forensic Psychologist with a depth of knowledge and experience across a broad spectrum of psychological contexts. Her experience ranges from working with refugees and other marginalised communities to supporting first responders for post-critical incidents in managing their mental health.

Amina has extensive experience working effectively with a variety of clinical and forensic presentations including depression, anxiety, substance use, anger management, complex trauma, victims of crime, and the intersection of mental health in criminal matters. She has worked with individuals from all walks of life, from fast-paced CEOs to busy blue-collar workers.

Her approach to all individuals is driven from her ethos that every person has a right to positive mental health. Amina is a seasoned forensic psychologist, with ample experience in responding to matters of a forensic nature, including Court reports and treatment of forensic clients. Amina approaches her work with dedication and diligence, assisting clients from the beginning to the end of their healing journey.

Amina completed a Bachelor of Psychology (including a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology) and a Master of Psychology in Forensic Psychology at Western Sydney University. Amina is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a fully Endorsed Forensic Psychologist. She is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society and a Fellow of the College of Forensic Psychologists.
